It is a site devoted to sale / exchange of items found in game Guild Wars by means of the money of game (the mythical Gold coins).
In what does it differ from a forum of exchanges?
Guild Wars Shop is only devoted to these exchanges. He is more structured as a result, items being classified in different categories, allowing you to find easily those who interest you.
Each member has a Reputation, allowing you to think on the integrity of the person from which you buy or sell. For more details, refer to member's page.
How to I register?
You only have to go in the menu register
I search an item according with specific characteristics, how can I do?
First option:
use the function «search» located on top of the homepage by entering in it a keyword.Second option:

About green item, just get to the link for the database of Green items, and then choose the type of desired item, it will show you all active ongoing sales on Guild Wars shop. This system is also available for Minis Pets.I would like to change my address e-mail, but there is no possibility to change it my profile.
A simple user cannot change his email (made on purpose). If you wish to change your email, send us an admin alert, by specifying your new email, a member of our team will make the changes.
In my profile, I can put only the single name In-Game while I have several characters.
One single name In-Game is enough: by being linked with any character of your account, it is possible to send you a private message in game by typing any name In-Game of one of your characters. It means that is if you are connected with your monk for example, it is possible to write you in-game name even if the name of your elementalist is typed in.
Items are reviewed before being sold on the site?
Yes, they are all completely reviewed. To offer a good quality site, we approve that all item will appear in the adequate category. The titles of your items are also verified, here is some examples of titles of items
Can I change an item which was validated?
No. When you post an item, this one appears 5 minutes afterwards in our list of waiting for validation. Then, as soon as the item is validated, it can be modified only by a member of our team.
Some of my sales are blocked because the screenshot does not seem to be good. The problem would come from the white outline around this one. I have to waste time for re-sizing them?
Yes, it’s needed. We want to offer a clean site, and in order to do that, we impose screenshots without white border around the characteristics of the item. In most cases, the screenshot was already cut up but there remains a border: you won’t waste time if you cut this border right away. Tutorial Tutorial HERE
When one of my items is send in waiting for validation, do I have to repost by correcting errors? Otherwise, how do I make changes?
Of course no. Get to the page "Manage my sales" and click on link "Modify" to change your item.
A member accepted that I buy his item but I do not know how to exchange the item and gold coins.
The seller receives the In-Game name of the purchaser. For the rest of transaction, the transaction is made between the seller and the purchaser: Set the time of appointment. Once it is set, you proceed to the exchange in game. Think after of returning on the site to put an evaluation for the other person. For the seller: think of pointing out that the item was paid.
How can I see my member's page?
Get to the main homepage in the member’s frame spaces located above to the right. Click on link "my member’s page".
Is it possible, on the page "Manage my sales", to cancel or delete the items of my lists of performed sales or of the unsold items list?
We want to keep all archives of sales performed on Guild Wars Shop. But on regards of the unsold items, you have two options at your disposal: "back on sale" or "delete".
Is it possible to see the messages that I have sent?
Yes, in your inbox, you have a "sent message" listing all your sent messages.
To what corresponds the button RSS?
It allows showing the RSS flow, generating the 20 last items for sale on Guild Wars Shop. To have more information on this technologyClick here.
What is the utility of the small colored dots facing the titles of the items for sale?
They resume in a quick look the quality and rarity of the item. In the order of rarity (identical to the game): White, Blue, Purple, gold and green.

What is Direct Sale?
Direct sale is quicker than Bidding. Indeed, it allows you to be directly put in touch with the first member interested by your item. Once the interested person is found, it will be offered to you to accept or to refuse offer, refusal must be accompanied with a valid reason.
How to start a Bidding sale?

How my Bidding sale is is going to finish?
When the time allowed for Bidding is ended, you will be sent the highest bidder’s name (in condition that fixed reserve priceis reached). Afterwards up to you to fix the transaction in game.
Why my item doesn’t appear right away on the site when I post it?
To insure that every posted item is going to be in the right category and to see if nobody tries to abuse of the site services, we control each of the items which the member put for sale.
What are the items I’m allowed to sell?
All items which you can find by exploration of the world of Guild Wars.
How can I know what are worth my items?
Procedure to follow:
1. Look at the prices of other items for sale, and evaluate in comparison with these.

Some item, besides requiring one requested for some a category brings bonuses to another category. How can I multi-classify my item during the addition of this one?
It is not possible to multi-classify your item. By making it, the item would appear in 2 different categories on the site (category of items intended for the class A and that of items intended for the class B). By doing this, the seller of this item would be more favorised because this item would have more chance to fall in research result.
What is the reserve price?
It’s the lowest price which you are ready to accept for your item. You are not required to sell item if the price was not reached, otherwise you promise to sell the item.
The members of the site who look at my items, can they see the reserve price which I fixed?
No, absolutely not. The spare price can be seen only by yourself and by the staff of the site, of course. If you wish nevertheless that the reserve price is visible to other members, when you add an item for sale, check the box to leave the reserve price visible to other members.
I’ve put an item in "Buy it now" sales. A member bought it from me, and I therefore validated transaction in the menu "Manage my sales". But the purchaser contacted me to say that he refused finally to buy it from me. What should I do? Should I repost my item?
In that case, the system of evaluation is found very interesting. You can threat the purchaser to put in him a negative evaluation. If he persists, post a negative evaluation on his profile. Beware, always remain polite. In fact to be in your rights does not give you the permission to lack respect of people in any circumstances. Thereafter, you can put your item for sale by re-posting it.
I realized that I overrated my item. How could I lower the price while it’s already validated?
The only way is to contact a member of the staff to explain and to give the new price.
There is one of my items which for sale on Guild Wars Shop that I sold in game. How can I withdraw my item?
Go to "Manage my sales" and then choose "Delete". Be aware that it’s against the rules of Guild Wars Shop: as soon as you post an item on Guild Wars Shop, you promise to sell it here and not in game.
How to know if my item is inscribable?
Voici un tutorial to explain it in detail. Otherwise, in summary an item is inscribable when it includes mention «Inscription: » in its characteristics.
Do you accept ectos?
The ecto (glob of ectoplasm) is an item to which high value can be known at the traders' of rare materials In Game. This material is regularly used as currency of exchange, mainly during showing transaction 100.000 Gold coins (100K).
How works direct sale?
Quick and simple, click on the button "Buy it now ", validate, and then it’s yours. However the seller is in right to refuse the sale. So for example the buyer doesn’t seem to be reliable in regards of his negative evaluations. On your side, as long as the seller did not accept your offer you have the possibility of retracting it.
How to bid on a Bidding sale?
To bid, enter an amount into Your Maximum bid and click on Place Bid. A page will display that asks you to confirm your bid. When - and only when - you click on "Confirm Bid" will your bid is placed. Once the bid is placed, remember you have entered into a binding contract with the seller to buy the item should you win. Do not place bid that you can’t afford.
What is the reserve price?
It is the lowest price in which the seller would sell his item. You do not know this price if the seller decided not to show it. You know only if it was reached or not.
I have raised a bid just before it end, and I then I disconnected. How could I know if I won the bid?
Go to the menu "Manage my purchases". If the item is in "Won items", you automatically won it.
I was on a bidding which interested me a lot. A few hours was left before ending then I saw the item was gone! What happened?
If it disappeared, there are only 2 possibilities:
- Bidding is ended: someone has simply offered the maximum selling price, what gives the immediately end of bidding (and the person wins it)
- Bidding terminated by a moderator / adminIf I have a question to ask to the seller, how do I to contact him?
By sending him a message; click on his name then click on "Contact member"
I bought an item but the seller doesn’t contact me. What should I do? Does it belong to me to contact him?
The seller normally received your In-Game name. If he doesn’t contact you right away, let him some time, it’s not everyone that stays on Guild Wars all day. Then send him a message thru message box. Keep track of his in-game name to try contacting him directly in the Guild war game.
For what reasons would I leave a negative feedback regarding a member?
A few reasons:
- The person concerned does not answer your messages on Guildwar shop (Give him a little of time however : around 10 days)
- He doesn’t come to agreed time for the exchange. (contact him again)
- He doesn’t have the item that you bought from him.
- He doesn’t have money to pay you the item you sold him.
In the case you will have to declare the buyer: "insolvent" Thru you link of "Sold items". Afterward give him a negative feedback (stay polite) then after put again your item for sale that will be asked in that same page.
Someone left a negative feedback, but I did not deserve it.
At first you should try to establish the contact with the person who left you the negative feedback, with the intention that he explains you his point of view. If it proves that he made an error, contact us and explain us, we will fix it. But if he gives you good reasons, it is incumbent to you to be itemive, and to accept what succeeds to you and to make sure that it does not happened again.
I left a negative feedback to a bad seller, and he left me a negative also while I did not deserve it, what can I do?
This type of attitude of revenge can lead others to doubt you. To avoid this, we recommend you to keep a maximum of proof of your good faith, as exchanges of messages on the site or even from screenshots of doubtful transaction during game (very easy, just print screen towards top and right of your keyboard). Then contact us.
I can’t give feedback, why?
Many possible reasons:
- If it’s a bidding sale, is the reserve price is reached? If not, you did not win the item. If on the opposite reserve price is reached and that sale has just ended today, wait the following day. You will be able to your feedback (it is necessary to wait that sales are updated by the system carried out at midnight by the site).
- If it’s a direct sale, transaction has to be agreed by the seller (into "Manage my sales"> Transaction in waiting)

I do not succeed in creating my account on the forum. What's happening?
It is completely normal. When you register on the site, it is the same for the forum. You have only to get identified on the forum with the same username and the same password as for the site.
Is it possible to subscribe to a chat line on the forum?
No, for reasons of management of the server, this function doesn’t exist anymore.
I would like to change my pseudo name, is it possible?
About the site or the forum, it is not possible, the only solution is to create a new account without forgetting the request of cancelling the old one, because the multi accounts is officially forbidden.

There’s a sale that seems to be suspicious! How can I do?
A "Admin Alert" link is at your disposal, if you think of a doubtful item when thru our guardians send us a comment of why you think it is. You can use it to signal an illegal sale or a behavior of a member if he seems to you inappropriate. Once alerted, the team of Guild Wars Shop will make sure to regulate this as quickly as possible.
I lost my password. What can I do?

When updates of Guild Wars will come into the world, Guild Wars Shop will evolve to allow the sale of the new items?
Yes, we update the site, and will make all small necessary modifications to allow the sale of all new items which will bring add-on.
I’m banished, and now?
Nothing. Banishment is applied to the account, but also to its owner, what means that a second account of the same person (and with a different pseudo) will be also banished.
I was banished without warning, it’s not fair!
We consider that a registered member agrees to follow the rules of Guild Wars Shop. Going against one and it’s… the door. However, the team of Guild Wars Shop sometimes informs the members during little offences, and then the accused member has chances to straighten the bar. But if he commits a second offence, bye!
